QING Arts Club is proud to present Echoes of Time, a solo exhibition by Dr. Mi Qiaoming, an artist whose works trace an intimate journey through spirituality, uncertainty, suffering, transformation and ultimately, liberation.
Presented as a visual narrative unfolding across four distinct chapters, Echoes of Time reflects the evolution of the artist’s inner world over nearly a decade. From the stillness of ancient spiritual imagery to futuristic landscapes, from the fragility of the human body to the powerful image of a horse running towards the light, the exhibition is a deeply personal exploration of life and the emotional experiences that shape us.
Rather than presenting a linear collection of paintings, Echoes of Time invites viewers to enter Dr. Mi’s world and journey alongside her, through moments of peace, confusion, darkness, pain, resilience and renewal.
A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME, MEMORY AND TRANSFORMATION
Echoes of Time is ultimately a reflection on the human journey.
Across four chapters, Dr. Mi Qiaoming transforms personal experiences into a visual language that moves between spirituality and technology, darkness and colour, suffering and celebration, stillness and movement.
From the weightless serenity of Floating, through the uncertainty of The Wanderer, the emotional transformation of Transmuting Suffering, and finally the triumphant freedom of Running Toward the Light, the exhibition captures the many stages through which a life, and an artist, continues to evolve.
At its heart, Echoes of Time asks us to reflect on our own journeys.
What do we carry from the past? What transforms us? And after everything we have experienced, where is the light we continue to run towards?
QING Arts Club invites collectors, art enthusiasts and the public to experience this deeply personal and visually compelling journey through the evolving artistic world of Dr. Mi Qiaoming.
